Mer Wade (they/them) is a poet, essayist, and musician based in New York City. They are a graduate of NYU Gallatin, where they earned an interdisciplinary Master’s in cultural studies, creative writing, and history. Their interests center on genre hybridity and the politics of popular culture. Mer’s work has appeared in Bright Wall/Dark Room, Bloodletter, Sojourners, Red Cedar Review, and elsewhere.
